Our bar operator, Tap Social Movement grew out of a passion for great beer and social justice.
Tell us about your business and how it started.
Tap Social Movement started in Oxford in 2016, founded by Tess and Amy Taylor, and Paul Humpherson, with a view to pair their love of seriously good craft beer and their backgrounds in criminal justice. Since, Tap has expanded to four venues and one bakery - including our little bar in Banbury's Lock29. Besides brewing 'Criminally Good Beers', Tap is a social enterprise, creating training and employment opportunities for those who are currently serving or recently released from U.K. prisons.
What will people find when they visit you at Lock29?
A lovely, engaging team; regular live music, comedy and art nights; and a range of craft beer, wine, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks.
What do you recommend people buy from you to get a real flavour for your business?
