Magician Duo Brings “Viral Mind Reading” Act to Lock29
Community
A mind-bending magic act that’s been baffling audiences online is coming to Lock29 this September.
Magician Sean Heydon, known for his card tricks, and Kerry Jay, a children’s entertainer based in Oxfordshire, have joined forces as Interlinked - a magician duo with a “psychic” twist. They’ll be bringing their live show to Lock29 in Banbury on 6th September, inviting the public to try and work out the secret for themselves.
The Viral Trick Everyone’s Talking About
The act centres around what they call “the art of shared consciousness”. During the performance, Kerry is blindfolded while Sean interacts with audience members. Despite being unable to see, Kerry is able to describe objects handed to Sean with astonishing accuracy, as if she can “see” through his eyes.
Clips of the duo in action have gained attention on social media, sparking endless speculation. Viewers have guessed at everything from earpieces to coded hand signals, false blindfolds to hidden gadgets, but no one has been able to prove how it’s done.
Sean says the mystery is all part of the fun:
“We’re not claiming to be psychic, but we won’t be revealing anything about our method. The more people try to figure it out, the more we want them to come and see it live.”
A Chance to Put the Trick to the Test
Audience members at Interlinked Live aren’t just passive observers. They’re invited to inspect Kerry’s blindfold, look for hidden devices, and try to catch the duo out before bringing Sean personal items for Kerry to identify.
See It for Yourself
Interlinked Live will take place at Lock29, Banbury, on 6 September.

Sean and Kerry are encouraging Banbury locals to come along and judge the act for themselves:
“Check Kerry’s blindfold. Check for devices. See it live and see if you can work it out.”
