Free Wellness Wednesday Event at Lock29

Some of Banbury’s most respected wellbeing advocates are coming together at Lock29 on 22 February for Wellness Wednesday. A free, inspiring and uplifting event supporting positive mental health.
Wellness Wednesday starts at 6pm and will last around an hour and a half. It will include talks from boxing gym owner and motivational speaker, Dave Earle MBE; Oxfordshire Mind and meditation expert Barbara Sunchaser.
They will be joined by Tara Lever, mental health first aider and founder of the Banbury Mental Health Mates group which meets to ‘talk and walk’ once a month at Spiceball Park.
Dave Earle MBE is head coach and owner of Spit'n'Sawdust in Banbury. Former champion boxer and kickboxer, award-winning youth leader, TEDx speaker and 2012 Olympic torch bearer.
Barbara Sunchaser is certified yoga, meditation and pranayama teacher who focuses on practices that still the mind and balance life’s every day busyness and stress.
Oxfordshire Mind have been campaigning on mental health issues in Oxfordshire for the last 50 years.
Chris Catford, General Manager at Lock29 said: “Keeping the balance in life after the last couple of years can be tough, especially in the current climate. We are so pleased that this event has come together with so many great partners. This will be an informal event in a small, relaxed setting. Everyone interested in mental health is very welcome.”
