Screenings at Lock29: The 8th (12A)
The 8th traces Ireland’s campaign to remove the Eighth Amendment – a constitutional ban on abortion. It shows a country’s transformation from a conservative state in thrall to the Catholic church to a more liberal secular society.
In collaboration with The Millar Arts Centre and IWD Banbury Festival.
We will be pausing the film for a 15 minute interval at an appropriate halfway point so guests can take a comfort break and collect any pre-ordered drinks from the bar.
Event starts at 7:30pm.
